Product Overview

Aluspray-AWD is a topical antibiotic wound dressing spray designed for veterinary use. Available in a 125 ml (74 g) canister, it provides a protective barrier for wounds in animals, aiding in healing while preventing infections.

Composition

Each canister contains:

• Neomycin Sulphate I.P.: Equivalent to 3400 units of Neomycin
• Polymyxin B Sulphate USP: Equivalent to 5000 units of Polymyxin
• Bacitracin Zinc I.P.: Equivalent to 400 units of Bacitracin
• Excipients: q.s. (quantity sufficient)

Uses/Indications

Aluspray-AWD is indicated for:

• Completely covering wounds without damaging wound tissue
• Protecting wounds post-castration, post-dehorning, and post-operative care
• Forming a protective barrier against micro-organisms, dirt, flies, and other insects
• Use on teat ends in dry cows only
• Allowing the wound to oxygenate (breathe), which is essential for good wound healing

Dosage

• Apply a superficial layer on the wounds once or twice daily.
• For optimal results, wounds should be cleaned, disinfected, and sutured if necessary before application.
• Use as directed by a veterinarian.

Storage Conditions

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources (extremely flammable).
• Keep away from direct sunlight.
