Fungi Care Cream-B is a skin preparation designed for dogs, formulated to treat fungal infections and related skin conditions. This white, sterile cream comes in a 20g collapsible plastic tube.

Composition

Each gram of Fungi Care Cream-B contains:

• Itraconazole: 10 mg
• Betamethasone: 1 mg

Action

Fungi Care Cream-B is a compound skin cream with two active ingredients, each with different modes of action:

• Itraconazole: An imidazole compound with activity against fungi and yeast, also showing some activity against gram-positive bacteria.
• Betamethasone: A potent glucocorticoid that primarily acts as an anti-inflammatory agent and immunosuppressive agent.

Indications

For the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory skin conditions of the dog where fungi sensitive to itraconazole are present or need to be controlled.

Dosage and Administration

• Clip the excessive hair, remove dirt, and clean the lesion with normal saline.
• Apply Fungi Care Cream-B to the lesion twice a day for 7 days.
• Affected animals must be isolated from other healthy animals.

Precautions

Extensive and prolonged topical administration of steroids to animals can cause abnormalities of fetal development.

Side Effects

Hypersensitivity to the preparation.

Storage Conditions

Fungi Care Cream-B should be stored at temperatures between 15-30°C, away from direct sunlight.
