Product Overview

Earcare-N is a veterinary ear preparation designed for the treatment of otitis externa in dogs and cats. This sterile solution comes in a 7.5 ml plastic dropper bottle, providing effective relief from ear infections.

Composition

Each ml of Earcare-N Drops contains:

• Neomycin Sulphate: 5 mg
• Dexamethasone: 1 mg

The drops are a clear, colorless to yellowish sterile solution.

Indications

Earcare-N is indicated for the treatment of otitis externa, a steroid-responsive inflammatory condition of the ear where bacteria sensitive to neomycin are present or need control in dogs and cats.

Dosage and Administration

• Instill 2 to 3 drops into the ear every 2-3 hours until signs of improvement are apparent.
• The frequency can then be reduced based on the pet’s response.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the preparation.
• Should not be used if the tympanic membrane is damaged, as neomycin is ototoxic.

Precautions

• Extensive and prolonged topical administration of steroids to animals can cause abnormalities of fetal development.

Storage Conditions

• Store Earcare-N Drops at temperatures between 15-30°C.
• Keep away from direct sunlight and replace the cap after use.
